Add Analytics

Add Analytics to Flipcause Campaigns

To better understand and reach your audience, you can add tracking code from Google Analytics or the Facebook Pixel (or any other source) to your Flipcause campaigns and thank-you pages. This code will run behind the scenes on your campaign and won't be seen by your supporters. Be sure to comply with any privacy guidelines set by your analytics platform; this might include adding language into your website's privacy policy to let users know that you're collecting their data.

Note: Once you've setup your code using the instructions below and you know you have traffic on your pages, login to your analytics account(s) and make sure everything is working properly!

Add Analytics to Your Campaign Header

Once you've copied the tracking code snippet (Ctrl+c) from Google or Facebook, it's time to add it to your campaign header.

Here's how to do it:

  • Sign into your Flipcause dashboard and go to Campaigns > Edit this Campaign.
  • Go to the Widget Appearance or Landing Page Appearance tab, depending on how you're displaying this campaign:
  • Open the Header section and paste the code snippet (Ctrl+p) into the "Header Code" field:
  • Hit Save once you've entered your code.
  • Repeat the steps above for the Widget Appearance, if needed.

Add Analytics to Your Thank You Page

The next step is to add your tracking code snippet to the Thank You page for this campaign.

Here's how to do it...

If cart is activated on your campaign:

  • You can add the tracking code snippet once within Order Settings.
  • Within your campaign, go to the Order Settings tab and click to open your Cart Settings:
  • Scroll down to the "Cart Thank You Page Options" section and paste the code snippet into the "Analytics Code" field:

  • Hit Save when you're done.

If cart is turned off for your campaign:

  • You'll need to add your tracking code snippet to the Thank-You page for each active tool.
  • Within your campaign, go to Tool Settings > Manage Settings and click to Edit settings in the first section:
  • Scroll down to the "Thank You Page Options" and paste your code snippet into the "Analytics Code" field:

  • Hit Save when you're done.
  • Repeat the steps above for each active tool within your campaign.
